Message ... ohming out of spec on the convertible. And then I found another questionable injector, so fine, time to pull the plenum and fix it right. Here's what I found:

Good God

PCV's in complete failure mode... causing the oily crapola:

OK, time to bust out the brake clean & degreaser:

Getting there:

And as the plenum was off, over to the powdercoaters it goes for a little love:

These guys do a great job of prepping, inside & out:


Got the plenum on tonight, pics tomorrow.

Box score:

-Powdercoated plenum
-PCV valves & hoses
-plenum water line delete & bypass
-new injector connector harnesses soldered in
-replace fuel lines
-replace vacuum lines
-many assorted gaskets
-6 injectors flow matched & professionally cleaned & checked
-JB welded my PCV hard connectors that were loose in the valve covers

...all because my idle seemed a bit funny.

Keeps me busy.
